my letter to Siehara

DAMN!!!!  Now I have to go write Molly a letter, buy her a birthstone ring, a pandora bracelet, take her out to dinner AND talk with her more...damned adolescence!

That is a fantastic heartfelt letter.  i agree, I would keep it forever if my Mom wrote me a letter like it.  You are a great Mom and you will help her through these tough years.  Mine are starting with my son too...I think when he is at camp next week end I am going to write him a letter from my heart.  Thanks for the inspiration!  You are a great mom and a great friend too!

I am bawling right now!! You are showing her your love, support, and insights into making her a responsible, caring adult! That is so important!! Siehara is so lucky to have you for a mom!! She is a wonderful young lady and I love when she takes Dee and the other small ones to the playground while we are cooking away at Liz's!! I totally trust her with my kid!! If you ever need any help, let me know! I haven't been doing this mom thing for as long as you have, but I feel that I have gathered enough experience to if nothing else listen and help you through this!!

This letter is something I would so treasure!! There are so many times that I wish I could lean on my mom or ask her advice, but she is not able to do that! But, I always remember all the things she did for me and all the ways she said "I LOVE YOU" to me. She sacrificed so much for me so I could have better, but that is what parents do, right??

I am STILL crying....

can you be my mother  i needed to hear words like that at her age and maybe i wouldnt have taken the wrong paths  and be so far off course  took me awhile to get back on track but im there lisa  your the best
